Jira integration

For agencies. Each new client comment becomes a Jira issue, with its screenshot attached.

Connect Jira

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and press Connect next to Jira.
  2. Atlassian asks you to allow TweakTick. Pick your site and approve it.
  3. Open a project's settings and pick the Jira site, project and issue type.
  4. If you like, pick the Transition when resolved (for example to "Done") and the Transition when reopened.

New connections use Connect only; TweakTick doesn't ask for an API token. If you connected earlier with your site address and an API token, that connection keeps working. To move it to Connect, press Reconnect next to Jira.

What is sent

  • A new comment becomes a new issue, with the screenshot attached.
  • Replies are added as comments on that issue.
  • Resolving or reopening the comment in TweakTick moves the issue with the transition you picked. With none picked, TweakTick uses the first one to a Done status (or back to an open one).

Jira is one-way for now: changes made in Jira don't come back to TweakTick.

Internal comments

  • Internal (agency-only) comments are sent with an "[Internal]" label, because your developers need that context.
  • If your client can see this Jira project, switch on Exclude internal comments in the project's settings.

Turning it off

Open Settings → Integrations and press Disconnect next to Jira. Issues already created stay in Jira.
