Privacy
How TweakTick handles the information in your reviews. Plain English, short.
What we store
- Agencies: your account (name, email, a securely hashed password) and your workspace's projects.
- Clients: the name and email you type when you start commenting, your comments, pins, any pictures or voice notes you attach, and your approval.
- Review files: the screenshots, images, PDFs and videos being reviewed.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or show ads.
- The review snippet runs only when a review is started from a review link. The extension runs only on the tab where you click its button: on a review link it shows the review tools; on any other page (team mode) it takes one screenshot of that tab for your comment. Neither reads your other tabs or your browsing history.
- Internal comments an agency marks as internal are never shown or emailed to clients.
Who can see what
- A review link shows that project only. Invite-only links need an emailed code.
- An agency can remove a client from its workspace at any time; their access ends at once.
Files sent through a request link
Files you upload through a "request files" link go only to the agency that sent it. Images are re-saved to strip hidden data (like location). Other files are checked to make sure they are what they claim to be.
Questions or deletion
Ask the agency that sent you the link: it decides what is kept for its reviews. You can also contact TweakTick using the address in our Privacy Policy, which has the full details, including how long things are kept.
