Emails to your clients
For agencies. TweakTick emails your clients when you reply to them and when a new version is ready. You can add other people at the client, and every client can unsubscribe.
Status: the email digest and extra recipients are in beta, rolling out now.
What clients get
- New version ready: when you share a new version, with how many of their comments you addressed.
- Replies and resolved comments: when you reply to a comment a client made, or mark it resolved. These come as one short email per project, at most every 15 minutes, so a busy afternoon doesn't fill their inbox.
- A reminder 48 hours after a version is ready, if they haven't approved it or asked for changes yet.
- Codes and receipts they ask for: the approval code, the code to open an invite-only link, and the approval receipt.
Internal notes are never emailed to clients. Replies you write through the API, MCP or automation tools show on the review, but are not emailed.
Replies to client emails go to the teammate who acted, or the workspace owner.
Add other people at the client
Open the project and press Settings. Under Client emails, add up to 20 email addresses. They get the "new version" email and every reply and resolved comment of the project. Each address counts toward your plan's client limit. If the project collects feedback privately (Settings → Client controls), they only get the "new version" email, plus replies on comments they made themselves.
On an invite-only link, people you add here are only emailed if they are invited too.
Unsubscribe and resubscribe
Every update email (the reply digest, the "new version" email and the reminder) has a Manage emails link and an Unsubscribe link, and email apps show their own Unsubscribe button. A client who unsubscribes stops getting replies, new versions and reminders from your workspace. Codes and receipts they ask for still arrive.
Changed their mind? The client opens Manage emails in any earlier email and presses Resubscribe. Emails start again from the next update. Earlier ones are not sent again.
In Settings → Guests, an Unsubscribed badge shows who turned emails off. You can't turn them back on for a client: only the client can, from the link in any earlier email. If you removed someone from your workspace, they stay removed even if they resubscribe.
Change the wording
Workspace owners on a plan with branding can change the subject and first paragraph of these emails in Settings → Client emails, in every client language.
