For clients: review in 60 seconds
For clients. Someone sent you a TweakTick review link. You don't need an account or a password.
1. Open the link
Open the link from your email or chat. You see what's ready for review and what's needed from you. Press the big button (for example Review the site or Review the design).
2. Leave a comment
- Click (or tap, on a phone) the exact spot you want to talk about.
- Type your comment and send it. You can also draw a box or an arrow, or add a picture or a voice note.
- The first time, we ask for your name and email, so the team knows who said what.
Each comment sits on a numbered pin. The team can reply, and you'll see when a comment is fixed.
- The team may mark a comment In progress or Ready to check, so you know where it stands.
- If the team allows it, you can press Resolve when a comment is done, also on comments from an earlier version, and Reopen it if it isn't.
3. Approve, or ask for changes
- Happy with it? Press Approve. We email you a 6-digit code; type it in to confirm. See Approving a version.
- Not yet? Press Request changes and say what still needs work.
That's it. When the team uploads a new version, we email you so you can check it.
Good to know
- On a live website, the team may ask you to use the extension or bookmarklet. If that doesn't work for you, the screenshots on the review page always do.
- Reviewing on the live site? The "Review on the live site" button works for a few minutes each time. If you see "This link expired. Open it again from your email", open the review link from your email again and press the button.
- On the live site, a dashed pin marked approximate is a comment made on a screenshot, placed where we think that spot is.
- On a PDF you can also select words and comment on them: Comment on text in a PDF.
- Some links are invite only: you confirm your email with a code before you can open them.
- The team may show you a short tour when you first open the review. Press Show the tour to see it again.
- Too many emails? Update emails have a Manage emails link: press Unsubscribe there. Codes and receipts you ask for still arrive. Want them back? Open Manage emails in any earlier email and press Resubscribe.
- What we store and why: Privacy.
