Install on WordPress

Plan needed: self-hosted WordPress: any. WordPress.com: any paid plan (free plans cannot add scripts).

Where to paste

1. Easiest: install a header/footer code plugin (for example WPCode), open Code Snippets > Header & Footer, and paste into Header.
2. Or in a block theme: Appearance > Editor cannot add scripts; use the plugin. In a classic child theme, add it before </head> in header.php.

Cache and optimisation plugins

• Purge the page cache after pasting: WP Rocket (Clear cache), LiteSpeed Cache (Purge All), W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, and your CDN (Cloudflare: Caching > Purge Everything).
• Exclude pr.js from minify, combine, delay JS and defer (WP Rocket: File Optimization > Excluded JavaScript Files; LiteSpeed: JS Excludes; Autoptimize: Exclude scripts). If the checker says "minify plugin altered the script", this is why.

If the site has a Content-Security-Policy

Ad blockers

Our file names and host are neutral and the script sends no analytics, so most blockers leave it alone. If a client still sees "The review tools could not load", ask them to pause their ad blocker for this site, or send them the screenshot review link instead.

Check it

Paste the live URL into Check install in TweakTick. Normal visitors are not affected: the script only switches on for links that carry a review token.
