Export your data and delete your account

For agencies. You can take a copy of a workspace at any time, and delete your account when you leave.

Export a workspace

Workspace owners only.

Go to Settings → Account and find Export workspace.
We build a zip file in the background and email you a download link.

What's in the zip: projects, versions, comments (including internal ones), approvals, the sign-off record with its check result, and your stored files.

Good to know:

The download link works once and for 24 hours.
Videos and very large files aren't copied into the zip. They're listed with download links that work for 7 days; download them before then.
You can export each workspace once a day.

Delete your account

Go to Settings → Account and find Delete my account.
Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

What happens:

Workspaces where you're the only member are deleted, with their projects and files.
You're signed out everywhere, and your app sign-ins, API keys and mobile devices stop working.
Your name on comments you wrote in other workspaces becomes "Deleted member".
We email you to confirm.

You can't delete your account while:

you're the only owner of a workspace that has other members: make someone else an owner first; or
a workspace where you're the only member has a monthly plan: cancel it in Settings → Billing first.

A lifetime licence (Founding or AppSumo) on a workspace where you're the only member doesn't block deletion, but it is lost with the workspace. Invite a teammate as owner first if you want to keep it.

What we keep

Sign-off records are kept after a project, workspace or account is deleted. They are the record of what your clients approved, and nobody can edit or delete them. Backups expire on their own schedule. Details: Privacy Policy.
